About Us
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Kay Dillon started with a desire to teach our future drivers of tomorrow and so was the beginning of Kay's Driving School Inc.
Upon Kay's passing her husband Paul continued to ensure her dream carried on with continuing the services of Kay's Driving School.
Several years later, Kay's Driving School is now well established in Central Newfoundland offering additional programs to enhance your driving skills. And so we move forward.........
PROGRAMS WE OFFER
Provincial Graduated Driver Education Course
25 hours of Classroom Instruction - Followed by 11 hours behind the wheel
Last lesson will be your road test, using Kay's Driving School training vehicles. We book your road test.
2022 Rates: Course Cost: $720.00 + $108.00 hst = $828.00 total charges
Class 4 Defensive Driver Course
This course will provide you with the training to drive special vehicles with a seating capacity of not more than 10 persons (including the driver). This will include large capacity seating vans, wheel chair vans, etc.
Private Lessons
Need extra training hours to improve your driving skills or need more practice to ensure your driving skills are up to standard. Private lessons give you one on one with an instructor to improve and enhance your driving skills.
Defensive Driving Course
Defensive Drivers Course Provides you with additional training.
Certificate of completion provided. Classes are by appointment only
Points Reduction Course - Coming Soon
We are currently in the process of designing the program for Points Reduction Course. If you have lost points and want to get them back, this is the course for you. Once available we will be coming out with the news of when and the cost. Come back and see us soon.
CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS
Our instructors are fully trained and certified by Motor Registration Division. They have many years of experience in education and training of student drivers. They continue to update their skills to ensure they are up to date on the latest changes to the operation of a vehicle and rules of the road.
